Relocation services in London

2022 marks a new year of expansion for the relocation management company MRS! From the creation of the head office in Geneva 12 years ago to entering the Italian market in Milan, MRS is now moving on to the UK market with the opening of an office to manage relocation in London and all over the country.

Since March this year, a new MRS team has taken over the London office to promote our human and tech approach of move management and relocation management services in the UK.

Very enthusiastic and galvanised by the acquisition of new technological tools, we are keen to take up this new challenge in order to be even closer to our clients.

These are great developments and new perspectives for MRS, even if our mission remains unchanged: to propose an expatriation process creating a positive and beneficial experience not only for the expatriate, however also the company and their human resources department.

Experienced move and relocation management professionals

The MRS London team is composed of expert staff from the industry with some having personal experience of expatriation.

All based in the UK, they are fully conversant with the workings and cultural specificities of the UK market.

With a wide and rich experience in move management acquired in the leading relocation companies, Tim Lawrence is our office and partner relations manager. You may meet him on a golf course looking for wide spaces and serenity or at a squash club letting his boundless energy flow.

Alongside Tim, Alex Sikorsky is our Business Development Manager. Alex started his career in the relocation industry over 20 years ago, gaining professional experience in operations, management and sales; and personal experience by living with his family through several expatriations in Kyiv, Moscow and the UK.

On the business management side, Claire Green is our international move coordinator. With over 14 years experience in international moving, she has worked for several major players in the UK. She has an excellent understanding of business needs, cultural differences and enjoys interacting and sharing with others through her hobby, cooking.

The entire team will be able to respond to different needs :

  • Temporary accommodation
  • International home search
  • School search
  • International moving and relocation services

Why develop a presence in the UK?

We wish to introduce our model, which combines human support and innovation, to the UK market. We believe that this combination is essential to respond to the profound changes that human resource departments have undergone in recent years, and which are now taking place at a rapid pace.

At the heart of our DNA is transparency, which we have advocated since the creation of MRS Management.

Although we have a very stringent vetting process, which brings the very best providers on board, we have no ties or commercial agreements with any third-party movers or relocation service providers. This gives us complete independence for the benefit of our clients.

In the UK market, we aim to enhance this transparency through our various methods:

  • Benchmarking of providers;
  • Comparisons of offers based on competitiveness and quality;
  • Updated prices reflecting realistic costs, despite freight variations…

With the help of proprietary tech tools (mobile app and Quick Move platform) or external pricing platform (CONVERGO) that allow the teams in London, Geneva and Milan to be faster, more agile and relevant in operations.

Convinced that the use of technology is central and responds perfectly to the acceleration needs of HR decision-makers, the human element remains at the heart of MRS.

The multicultural move and relocation teams work together to closely monitor each stage of each expatriate’s mobility file.

It is this balance of innovation, transparency and human support that makes the strength of MRS, all within a human-sized structure for greater agility and customer proximity.

This market has always been a major focus for our clients. It was therefore obvious for us to expand to the UK, to provide an even more effective response, with local experts, recognised by their peers and by our clients. This has now been achieved and we are already very enthusiastic about the success of the first few months.
